A long long long time ago, well actually only 9 years our business started with the simple Frontpage website www.villa-in-carvoeiro.com (VIC). Our vision was to have all the information about a property on one simple page and to always deliver “Personal Service, Local Knowledge”. We just hated booking holidays with a company and you know that they are just reading from a brochure. It has and never will be a search website as we offer clients a more personal service. If you let us know your requirements, we can then point you in the right direction.
We also wanted to give clients a little information on the area, but not too much as the web has plenty of good places for this, in addition from time to time we would help promote local businesses who in turn promoted us.
In 2008, we became a Ltd and over the next few years evolved the websites and allowed clients to view more brochure style pictures through carvovillas.pacportugal.net and related websites.
In 2014 a star was born and we finally brought all the key elements of VIC to a new more professional website to meet the demand of owners and our clients- Pac4Portugal,com. It also allowed us to start looking at the way Google SEO worked and spend time and effort promoting. 2015 is looking promising with some great ways forward as we expand within our own sector of knowledge.
Over the past week and the next few weeks villa-in-carvoeiro.com is have a refresh with improvements on the pictures, the social media and some of the links, plus a few things in the background. With good google position and a google ranking VIC is here to stay. Some people prefer it as they like the retro, but that doesnt mean we can not deliver service. We have a good portfolio of websites and we do all the updates in house, so it can take time to keep them up to date. But you can follow us on a whole range of Social Media. So here’s to VIC and long may you reign!
This year we have had a whole influx of requests for Friday changeovers for our villas and apartments. The normal changeover days for rentals has been traditionally Thursday and Saturday, but airlines have added premiums to these dates so people often search for alternate changeovers.
Our Irish clients tend to come on Wednesday, while our Scottish on a Sunday, we do have properties that can accommodate this, like Casa Filarte, a luxury 4 bedroom villa, available on a Wednesday changeover or Casa Solfeiras, a budget 3 bedroom villa
The owners of Casa Comprida have allowed us to offer Friday changeover subject to availability, along with the luxury Casa Ursa
Other villas and apartments offer some flexibility the 4 bedroom villas of Casa Estrela Mar and Casa Tulipa
We have plenty of properties still more rigid during peak season for your traditional Thursday and Saturday changeover.
